WHAT SHALL I CALL MY BLOG?

I have decided to call my blog Scarlet Ribbons.
Why? 
Well, you see, I know all about Scarlet Ribbons. In fact I am positively an expert!
I actually cut the ribbons, the invisible ribbons, that Mum said bound us all together.
I knew that the ribbons were scarlet because Scarlet Ribbons was a song that Mum liked to sing to us as children. 
So the invisible ribbons had to be scarlet, didn't they?
Anyway, I cut the ribbons because I had to. 
I had to because it was all a lie and, apparently, I had caused the lie.
And the lie was so very serious that it had to be kept secret.
I didn't do it on purpose.
I didn't mean to do it. 
In fact, I didn't actually know that I had caused it because I didn't even know what the lie was, but It seemed I had caused it, nonetheless!
So I simply cut the ribbons, and set myself free. 

At least, that was the intention, to be free!
You see, I had tried to be the person that they wanted me to be while we were all connected by those ribbons. 
Then I discovered that they were not the people that I thought they were, 
so I could no longer be the person that they needed me to be. 
To be that person was to continue the lie, to keep the secret, so I simply cut the ribbons! 
It seemed so easy, just one snip and it was done. 
Except that the freedom wasn't as exhilarating as I had hoped, and the secret had a way of resurfacing whenever it felt like it.

So you see, It seems appropriate that my musings should be My Scarlet Ribbon Scribbles
